The 8th Line, an electrifying 8-piece ensemble that seamlessly blends timeless classics with original compositions, captivating audiences with their magnetic performances. At the forefront of this musical journey is Scott Jackson, a dynamic lead vocalist and the visionary force driving The 8th Line’s evolution. Emerging onto the scene in 2020 from the vibrant city of Barrie, the band has quickly etched their mark on the industry.
A nominee for the prestigious Rock Artist Of The Year accolade by the Canadian Gospel Music Association, The 8th Line boasts a sound that harks back to the golden era of rock and pop. Their musical prowess extends beyond homage, delving into a unique soundscape that resonates with fans across generations.
With an impressive discography, The 8th Line has enriched the airwaves with their sonic offerings. Within the past two years, they’ve gifted fans with two remarkable albums: “8×8” and “Ice & Elevate,” both of which have garnered critical acclaim for their artistry and innovation. The band’s radio presence is equally formidable, with singles like “Your Sad Eyes,” “Squeaky Wheel,” “Start Me Up Again,” and “I Can Hardly Believe My Eyes” becoming anthems that bridge the gap between nostalgia and contemporary brilliance.
Gwyneth Covey is a singer-songwriter from Elmvale, Ontario with a poetic and intimate folk/rock sound. She is greatly influenced by the raw emotion and descriptive style of songwriters like Stevie Nicks, Alanis Morisette, and Sara Bereilles along with her musical theatre background. With the recent release of her debut single “Summer” Gwyneth has secured herself as a creative and dynamic storyteller. Gwyneth is currently studying Music at Redeemer University in the hopes of solidifying her technical skills and branching out into classical music. Having recently participated in the Canadian Musicians
Cooperative Summer Emerging Artist Program, Gwyneth has been refining her branding, artistic identity, and collaborating with a variety of other Canadian musicians. This training, combined with over a decade of performance experience, makes Gwyneth a confident and versatile artist. Gwyneth is supported by Wesley Covey, Trent Pagliaro, and Clayton Nixon.
Wesley Covey is a Music Producer and engineer based in Elmvale, Ontario, is a versatile artist who is passionate about exploring various musical genres. Trent Pagliaro is a talented young musician from Elmvale Ontario who loves to share his passion for music. Always enthusiastic about everything he puts his mind into! And Clayton, is a promising young musician playing around the Barrie area and spreading his passion for making music across Ontario. Clayton plays Bass, drums, guitar and accompanies himself with vocals. Clayton hopes to one day make a name for himself as a professional musician
Monday Big is an up and coming pop rock band. They play a variety of originals and covers. The band was formed by 2 life long bestfriends who have a passion for music. They are joined by talented friends who help bring the show alive. When they hit the stage they do it in a BIG way!
