Comedy Night @ The Bull & Barrel in support of Street Cats Rescue

Join us on Thursday, November 13th at The Bull & Barrel Pub for our second annual Comedy Night in support of Street Cats Rescue!

Join us for another night of stand-up comedy as we raise money for Barrie’s Street Cats Rescue! All profits will be donated directly to Street Cats.

The 2024 event raised over $2000 – come out for a great time and help us to top it this time around!

Co-Headliner Chris Quigley

Chris Quiqley has been wowing audiences and mastering his craft from the young age of 19, making him one of Canada ‘s top Comedians, and earning him an hour Special on CTV’s well known “Comedy Now”. With a wide range of topics and facial expressions that are second to none, he is sure to please all audiences young and old.

He happily tears up the mythologies of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness with superb ease and accuracy. He is an energetic comedic force and a “kamikaze” humorist.

He’s a favourite at the Yuk Yuk’s clubs, colleges and festivals across the country. If you’re a fan of comedy with little to no vulgarity, this is one comedian you do not want to miss!

Co-Headliner Rebecca Reeds

Rebecca Reeds is a Toronto-based standup comedian, writer and podcaster. She can be heard on Sirius XM, The Debaters, and CBC’s LOL. Past festival appearances include Just For Laughs, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, JFL42 and Hubcap Comedy Festival. You can listen to her debut album Buddy on all major streaming platforms. Rebecca co-hosts the award-winning podcast The Villain Was Right and the new podcast Comedians in Dungeons Getting Dragons both featured on The From Superheroes Network.

Host Jay Ellis

Since starting comedy in 2022, Jay Ellis has quickly climbed the ranks in Central Ontario comedy. He’s featured on shows from the Bruce Peninsula to Dorset to Toronto and everywhere in between. His observational style has made him a favourite on local comedy shows.

Jay has a passion for using comedy for good and has produced several local comedy shows raising thousands for local charities under the banner of Do Something Comedy.
