Soundwave bio:
To describe Soundwave as a band/brand, they create alternative Pop/Rock/Hip-Hop music to be the embodiment of the journey & the destination: an ultimate expression of emotions as a result of the indomitable human spirit.
The band is made up of 2 friends: De-Tox and Lucky the Artist, and consists of their story to stardom. These guys live some pretty unique lives, which allows for a wide variety of topics for them to cover; like relationships, use of substances, shared experiences, and just about anything you come across in life. Together, they create a balance; a yin & yang effect that is used to explore the every-day plights and pleasantries of individuals as they progress. Their debut project, Simulated Human Emotion, is a collective documentation of these adventures.
Godone bio:
God One is a Certified Hip Hop Cultural Specialist, recognized by the Temple of Hip Hop through the Master Teacha KRS-ONE. Known for his explosive live sets combining beatbox, rap, and DJing, he’s performed across North America—including 13 shows with LiftiD on RA the Rugged Man’s 2024 Canadian Tour and an opening slot for Slick Rick in Toronto.
Over the past two years, God One has rocked 40+ shows, deejayed for over 50 MCs, and brought raw Hip Hop energy to open mics, festivals, and underground events across Canada and the U.S.
Also a dedicated teacher, he’s led workshops in schools, colleges, and cultural events—spreading Hip Hop knowledge from breakdance to turntablism.
Currently working on a French rap album featuring Québec talent, God One’s long-term mission is to tour French-speaking countries, then launch an English album to tour the world.
Tobalorne bio:
Toblarone is an independent Hip Hop recording artist born and raised in Orillia, Ontario. He quietly began making music in his early teens and has since honed in on his craft. Toblarone has always been a unique individual with a broad personality and his music is a truly authentic embodiment of him as a person. Making music for Toblarone is easy, the hard part is being openly vulnerable with the surrounding world. He’s a very introspective artist and tends to put himself as well as his problems under the microscope. Subtly depicting his life through various rhyme schemes and melodic rhythms. Toblarone has been working in silence for long enough, so this year he broke the ice with his debut single “Laugh Now Cry Later”. His supporters have been eagerly waiting for his highly anticipated debut project “Volatile” set to drop June 27th, 2025
