Join us for an amazing night of neck breakin Hip Hop pandemonium at Barrie’s ONLY Hip Hop monthly!!! This month’s features include Babylon Warchild with performances and a music video premiere for HUNGER PAINS. In line with that and Raw Dog entertainment’s FEED the STREETS initiative we’ll be collecting $10 at the door or $5 and 2 non-perishable food items. All proceeds go to Barrie’s Youth Haven Shelter.

“Our music has always been on a deeper level and has been more connected to the human experience then the average run of the mill HipHop group … I really wanted to make sure that the ‘Hunger Pains’ video release party was gonna actually help to combat hunger in the streets … Liftid and I have had a good run of throwing food drive/bar b q HipHop jams throughout the summer months the last couple of years with the ‘Unity Community Clean-Up’ team. I have been wanting to make a food drive happen in the winter months for a while now and I knew this was the perfect opportunity to make use of ‘Tha Undaground 2’ event to facilitate the food drive. Make sure you reach out to CW. COOPS , in downtown Barrie on Feb 18th , bring $5 and two non-perishable food items for admission to this legendary show !

The long awaited return to the stage for one of Canadas most accomplished touring HipHop groups. Having released three successful studio albums from 2011 to 2016 , and over a dozen official music videos in that time as well as hundreds of shows across Canada , Europe , Asia and South America. The group has reconvened to re-release their legendary debut self-titled album, along with a brand new music video for the underground classic ‘Hunger Pains’ , produced by Rex Seshunz. Filmed by the crew at ‘Tilted Chimney’ over the course of an overcast late autumn day in Toronto’s Moss Park neighbourhood, with some helpful involvement from the local community, as well as some scenes filmed on the TTC subway.

Join us at C.W.Coops, 3 Mulcaster St. in downtown Barrie on Sunday, Feb 18th at 7:00 pm , as we gather to celebrate the release of the new music video for Babylon Warchilds underground classic – ‘Hunger Pains’. This event features many talented artists from around southern Ontario and beyond , it is also a food drive , patrons are encouraged to bring non perishable food items together with $5 cash for admission to the event.”
